J&J Announces New Copyediting Services Coordinator: Brit Stamey

Brit Stamey has become a pillar at J&J since joining the company in 2013. As a new hire, Brit came in with a wealth of scholarly publishing experience from previous jobs. Due to her meticulous and hard working nature, Brit quickly rose through ranks at J&J, managing editorial projects for Future Science Group and Oxford University Press. Brit also became a leader in our Copyediting division, working with the Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association.

Throughout her career, Brit has made a point to share her experiences with the publishing community. Her active roles in CSE and ISMTE have produced numerous conference sessions and speaking opportunities as she works to share best practices with her industry colleagues.

Brit Stamey is now taking on the role of Copyediting Services Coordinator at J&J, making her responsible for all of the copyediting projects and staff at J&J Editorial. Copyediting is J&J’s newest and fastest growing division, which presents challenges and opportunities that Brit is excited to take on. We know of no one better suited to this role, and we are looking forward to seeing what Brit can do.
